What To Wear For The Dress To Impress Lost In The Library Theme?

We got another book-themed DTI theme within the Petal Update, and it’s Lost In The Library, which has a theme description of romantic, vintage outfits that you read about in books.

So, for this theme, we could dress as book characters, outfits from vintage books, or just bookworm outfits, and keep scrolling to see all three outfits.

This outfit was bookworm inspired, rather than a book character, and I did different shades of brown.

Footwear wise, I used the non-VIP ankle boots, and I chose the colors 3f2618, 3f2618, 3f2618 and 804e31, combined with the LANA leg warmers (code item) in 3e2618.

I chose the tights, and I made those 3e2618, to blend into the leg warmers and boots, for a cohesive look.

On top of the hair, I added the chunky headband in silk and 3e2618, and the cute VIP glasses, which I colored a57f27, a57f27, f8f8f8 and a57f27.

For the skirt, I used the Supernova Star Skirt (currency) in silk and I used the beautiful cream and black lace pattern.

I combined two items to make the frilly sleeve top, starting with the LANA crop top on toggle “smooth”, made silk, and used the cream and black lace pattern, with the Advent Calendar Steampunk Dress on “top only”, using the cream and black lace pattern and silk for section one, 3e2618 and matte for section two and three, and for section four.

Of course, I added the handheld books as a prop, and made it 3e2618, ffffff, 3e2618, 3e2618 and 3e2618

I did a vintage outfit for this next outfit, in dark gray and using the black rose pattern that was recently revamped.

First up, I used the VIP butterfly heels on “shoes only”, made matte, and colored 2b2b2b and 3f3f3f. Combined with the non-VIP stockings made opaque and colored 3f3f3f.

I added the VIP asymmetrical skirt in matte, with the black rose pattern. With the Coquette T-Shirt (currency), which I used the black rose pattern for section one, for section two, I used my skintone color eeb093 and for section three, so the two sections look like skin.

I added the Witch Sleeves (currency) in matte, and the same black rose pattern for both sections, combined with the 4BILLION top (code item) on “just collar & sleeves” toggle, which I colored 161616, 000000, the black and rose pattern, 404040 and 000000.

On the arms, I used the Moongazer Sleeves (Robux) on the sheer toggle, and colored 000000, the chain choker necklace in 2b2b2b and 000000, and finishing with the round stud earrings in 2b2b2b and 000000.

For my last outfit, I started with the VIP chunky gray heels on toggle “2”, in silk and with the recently reworked burgundy lace pattern (it’s so pretty).

I used the Witch Skirt (currency) in silk and the burgundy lace pattern for section one, and 3b0607 for section two.

I added the Witch Corset in silk, using the burgundy lace pattern for section one, section two, 15020d for section three, 3b0607 for section four and 340621 for section five, and finishing the set with the Witch Sleeves in silk and the burgundy lace pattern for both sections.

Next, I added the pink puffy sleeves in silk and the burgundy lace pattern, with the VIP gloves in silk and the burgundy lace pattern for both sections.

To finish the skirt, I added the VIP Moana Dress on “bow only” toggle, made silk and the same pretty burgundy lace pattern.

I used the VIP blue and pink summer top on the new “2” toggle, and made silk and burgundy lace pattern.

For the accessories, I used the VIP lace choker in 3b0607, 3a0607 and 3a0607, the VIP jewel drop earrings in 3a0607 and 3a0607, and the VIP flower corsage in silk and colored 3a0607 for all sections.
