During the Easter Dress To Impress Update (on April 19th), there were a few changes in-game, and one of those bigger changes, was the removal of the DTI Valentine’s Quest.
The Dress To Impress Valentine’s Quest launched as part of the Valentine’s Update, which launched on February 8th.
We didn’t get any warning that the Valentine’s Quest was leaving the game, BUT I’ve found a secret entry method, that allows you to get into the quest, so keep on reading to find out…
I have triple tested this method, on existing established DTI accounts and on a brand-new made today account, just to be sure this actually works before I write about it.
But, it definitely works at the time of writing this post, so I really hope you’re able to do it too, if you haven’t yet finished the quest, so you can complete it to get your Cupid’s Prodigy Valentine’s Quest outfit reward.
It’s such a cute set, with a silk skirt and matching top with a veil and layered necklace. If you haven’t yet got it, make sure you get it ASAP by doing the two-part quest, as the top is one of my most-worn items for layering. It’s so pretty.
OK, let’s get into the secret entry method to the Dress To Impress Valentine’s Quest, BEFORE they inevitably patch it…
You need to click the “Style Showdown” button in the sidebar when you’re in a normal server.
When you’re in Style Showdown, click the sever button again as if you want to leave Style Showdown, and as you can see from this image above, the *QUEST* button has magically reappeared.
On the server menu in any other DTI server (Regular, VIP, Pro, Master or Freeplay), this Quest Limited Time Event Button has been completely removed.
However, if you head to Style Showdown first, you magically get the quest button back, and when you click it, you are transported to the Valentine’s Quest.
When you click the quest button, you are taken to the lobby for the quest, with the exact same swan boats lined up for both chapter 1 and chapter 2.
The only difference is, the floor is a solid pink color now, when before it was pink glitter.
I tested on a new-new account to see if you’d still get the badge, and then the quest reward Cupid’s Prodigy set, and yes you absolutely still will unlock the badge, and unlock the quest reward.
I don’t know why the floor has changed, but the boats will still teleport you to the chapters of the quest, and the secret “Nelly” cut-scene door still works too.
I know they’ll patch this up ASAP, but I wanted to let you guys know, as I’ve had multiple emails from readers saying how gutted they were to miss out on the quest.
So, please go do the quest now, now now, before it is patched, so you can still get your badge for completing it, and of course, more importantly, the beautiful quest reward outfit.
