It’s been very quiet in the world of Dress To Impress, following the Valentine’s Update (February 8th) and the launch of Style Showdown (March 1st), but we’ve finally have an official announcement on the next big DTI update, and it’s the Dress To Impress The Petal Update Spring 2025.
We are getting lots of exciting new things, a brand new influencer code item, and some big changes to the game, so keep on reading to find out more!!!
Dress To Impress The Petal Update Spring 2025
Dress To Impress’s last update was the Valentine’s Update, which ended up being split over two weekends due to how big the update was. We haven’t had any updates since March 15th, although they did launch the Style Showdown new gameplay mode on March 1st, but that wasn’t an update.
We had a lot of updates from November to the beginning of February;
- Halloween Update on October 19th
- Small update on November 9th (which saw the launch of Royale Dior’s code item and BeaPlays code item)
- Winter and Christmas update on December 14th
- New Year’s update on December 30th
- Lunar New Year update on 25th January
- Valentine’s update on February 8th
So, that’s six updates in 16 weeks, which is kinda crazy, and must’ve taken so much work and effort from the DTI team.
People have been complaining about how quiet DTI has been lately, but that was a lot of updates in such a short time, it is understandable that we’d have a period without updates.
However, we’ve had two updates confirmed in the last 3 days; the April Fool’s Update launching April 1st, and now The Petal Update, which is their spring and Easter 2025 update.
Here is an official reveal of the Dress To Impress Easter Update logo.
We always get a new logo for every big update, and we currently have a cute Valentine’s Day themed logo, and it’ll be changing very soon, to this incredible, brightly colored spring and Easter egg inspired logo.
I just love the purple, and watercolor effect behind the words, with the cute little Easter eggs, and spring blooms bordering the logo. I can’t wait to see this logo on our loading screens.
When Does The Dress To Impress The Petal Update Launch?
Dress To Impress has officially announced that the next big update is going to launch Saturday, April 26th.
So, we have over three weeks to wait for the update to drop.
Now, this update is called The Petal Update – could that mean the petal dress could return in the Petal Update? Or will we get a petal dress part two, with a new petal inspired dress? This is just a potential theory, as they don’t usually call updates a specific word, it’s usually just a season update.
We are expected to get at least two code items in the DTI Spring Update.
EnchanteddIzzy has announced that she is getting her own code item in this update, and it’s a handheld magic wand with ribbons, angel wings and hearts.
It is the magic wand her character holds in her profile photo on YouTube, and it’s going to be a code item for Izzy within the Spring Update.
We don’t know what the code will be once it launches, but I guess it’ll be themed around her name with letters and numbers like ENCH@NT4DD1ZZY or something, if past codes are anything to go by.
The Dress To Impress The Petal Update is going to feature something brand-new, and something we’ve never seen before, which is very exciting.
We are going to be getting new animation packs, which will include walks, idles and jumps.
The announcement came with a video of four avatars doing different walks down the runway, each of them completely different.
The first walk was a more subtle walk, but the model has her hands on her hips with a subtle wiggle as she walks.
Second, we have a funny marching walk down the runway, with moving arms. It’s probably not meant to look funny, but it does to me.
Then we have a shuffling kind of walk, with moving arms again.
Lastly, my favorite is a cute walk with one hand on the hip and the other arm hanging down.
Zac used the word “packs” so the plural of that suggests we are getting three different packs, with a pack of animated walks, a pack of animated idles (when you’re stood still), and an animated pack of jumps.
These will be currency packs, just like poses, so make sure you get farming ASAP, as they’re bound to be high in-game currency prices, as animated poses are more expensive, as they’re harder to make, so get the in-game currency built up, so you’re ready – you can even use my free private server for DTI Girls readers if you’d like.
Something exciting, the Dress To Impress The Petal Update will introduce a feature where you will be able to gift the Robux items to other players.
Right now, you cannot gift anyone Robux items or currency items, but this new update will allow you to gift Robux items.
I don’t know if you’ll be able to gift in-currency items to players (please say you can), but we can definitely gift Robux items to someone else in-game.
The next confirmed item coming in the DTI The Petal Update is a brand new shop.
The shop is where we currently buy poses, the Valentine’s patterns, the Valentine’s makeup pack and currency items.
We are going to be getting a brand new shop, where we can buy all the items in-game, and I would definitely guess that we will be getting some new currency items.
It makes sense that DTI would launch new currency items to promote their new shop, so I’m super excited to see what items we will get.
When the Valentine’s update launched in early February, we saw a whole new section with the Valentine’s Makeup Pack and the Valentine’s Patterns Pack.
I think this was a way for the DTI team to test how well received they were, and we could be getting even more purchasable patterns and purchasable makeup looks in this new update.
M0t0princess (aka Owen) posted in the Dress To Impress Discord last night (thank you to my friend Lulu for the heads-up), a sneak peek of three items, alongside the following message:
“Some items I made/showed on a secret stream today! If you have any ideas for any other items you can ping me or DM me on Twitter, I don’t mind”
Owen is a Dress To Impress Modeler, and is the person behind some of the most iconic items within DTI.
There are three items, which are labelled as being; Regal Headband, Mirror and Staff, and they appear to be a three-piece matching Tudor set.
People are assuming that they’ll be Dress To Impress The Petal Update items, but I personally have another potential theory.
Motoprincess has a code item for an ornate crown, and that code item expired at the start of March, and this trio includes a brand new crown, so could this trio of items (or just the crown) be Owen’s new replacement code?
In the past, Choopie has a code which was retired (CHOOPIE10K), and then Choopie was given a new code (CH00P1E_1S_B4CK – with 3 items), so I think this could be Owen’s new replacement code?
It doesn’t matter if it’s a code item/s or an item added to the Spring update, the three items are stunning, with a realistic Tudor theme.
There’s a Tudor Headpiece, which is a stunning-jewelled headband with 5 gems of differing sizes, gold filigree detailing and a pearl edging on both the top and bottom.
Next, there’s a matching staff, with a gold twisted stick, with a red gem on the bottom, and a heart shaped gem at the top with matching gold filigree accents.
Lastly, there’s the matching hand mirror, with the same red gem at the top of the mirror and gold filigree accents.
We don’t know when they’re coming, but we do know they are definitely coming, as they were shared in the “Sneak Peeks” channel within the DTI Discord, and I’m definitely looking forward to using all three items.
Next up… poses. We always get some new poses in big seasonal updates, and StudioZac posted (again) in the DTI Discord, asking people if they knew what this animated dance move was?
People correctly guessed that it was Tate McRae’s dance move from her Revolving Door music video, and Zac asked Discord members if they wanted this pose within the game?
Of course, everyone said yes, and Zac said “ok ill finish it, and we can add it soon”, so we know this animated dance is coming to DTI, and seeing as Dress To Impress doesn’t just add one single pose, it is likely to launch as a pose pack, so possibly this pose pack will launch in the Spring Update.
DTI have now officially announced the new range of dolls, and I did an unboxing, review and giveaway of the dolls right here.
There are four different ranges of DTI dolls, with blind bag mini dolls, eleven inch fashion dolls, a Lana’s salon playset, and a runway playset.
Inside each of the Mystery Models Dolls, you get a doll (one of ten available), a hairstyle, a top/shirt, skirt/pants, heels, an accessory and a prop (like a book or bow), a collector’s card, a virtual prize for an in-game item, a stand and a display box.

It is not known if the DTI Dolls will give us in-game currency, in-game stars, or an actual item, but people that have bought the dolls already, and tried to redeem the code in their blind box, have not been able to redeem the code yet, as it’s currently inactive.
