The Dress To Impress team has announced a brand new feature in-game, and it’s the launch of animated walks, animated jumps and animated idles, and they’re launching very soon.
The new animations were announced within the DTI Discord and on their official Instagram, with a video showing four models walking down the runway with four of the new animated walks. Keep on reading to find out more…
As of now, we don’t know when the new animated walks, animated idles or animated jumps will launch, as the DTI team are yet to confirm the launch date of the upcoming Spring Update, but my personal guess for the update is the 12th of April, but obviously, that’s just an educated guess.
We also don’t know if we will be getting one bumper pack of animations, which will include the jumps, the idles and the walks all-in-one, or if it’ll be three separate packs.
I think it’s more likely to be three separate packs, as some people might not want, say the idles, but only the walks.
We’ve seen a sneak peek of four of the walks, and the first is a subtle walk, but the model has her hands on her hips with a subtle wiggle as she walks.
The second walk is a funny marching walk down the runway, with moving arms.
Then we have a shuffling kind of walk, with moving arms again.
Lastly, my favorite is a cute walk with one hand on the hip and the other arm hanging down.
We don’t know if the animated walks pack will include just these four walks, or if there’ll be more than four? I really hope we get more than four though!
StudioZac did a reveal of an upcoming pose, and it’s the Tate McRae Revolving Door dance move, which is “coming”, and could it possibly be one of the animated idles coming?
Right now, within DTI, we have pose packs, some of which include animated poses, like the Winter Pose Pack (which has two animated poses: Throwing Snow and Blowing Snow) and the Valentine’s Pose Pack (which has just one animated pose: Blow Kiss).
Usually, the Dress To Impress Pose Packs vary in price depending on how many poses are included. Here are the current pose packs on sale:

- Kawaii Pose Pack – 18 poses $4000
- Supermodel Pose Pack – 11 poses $3200
- Pop Culture Pose Pack – 7 poses $1800

How Much Will The Dress To Impress Animated Walk Packs Be?
The two pose packs with animated poses cost a lot more than any of the pose packs, with the Valentine’s Pose Pack being $6000, and the Winter Pose Pack was $7000.
The Winter Pose Pack is currently unavailable, but the DTI team has confirmed that the pack will be returning in the winter.
As of writing this post, we do not have a confirmed price, but what we do have is a confirmation from Zac himself, that the animated walks, animated idles and animated jumps will be currency items.
So, we know that the animated walks, animated idles and animated jumps will be currency item/s, and not Robux.
When thinking about how much they cost, it will depend on whether they’re an all-in-one walks, jumps and idles pack, or three separate packs.
But looking at the cost of the pose packs with animated poses, I think this animated pack/s will be pricey.
I don’t think they’ll cost less than $5000, and I’d guess at $6000 to $7000, but it could be three packs, we just don’t know yet.
My advice would be to farm as much currency as you can over the next two weeks, just in case, and we might even get new currency items in the spring update too.
If it’s three packs of animations, it could be $12,000 to $18,000 depending on how much they are individually, so feel free to use my free private server 24/7, to get that in-game currency, so you’re ready for this update.
However, please don’t worry if you don’t have enough currency, as these will be permanent packs, as they’re not seasonal, so you don’t have to worry about them disappearing once the spring update is over.

If you can’t use that link, the best way to get to an almost private server would be to go to this link: https://www.roblox.com/games/17481176031/DTI-Freeplay-Mode#!/game-instances
Then scroll down and with the “Number of Players” dropdown, click “Ascending” and that will give you all of the freeplay servers that have only one player inside. So you’re only playing with one other person, and you can get the money you need xx

I farmed so much money for the valentines update because I was paranoid we will have a 1 day item like that assimetrical dress from winter update I still have a lot left😭
I actually bought the dress but didn’t have enough for the choker and sleeve and I really wanted them because there are hardly any other assymetrical cloth in game

I have done a lot of farming on my alt account, as I don’t want to miss any 24 hour items. On my main account I’ve bought all the items, I don’t use the sleeve very much, but I love the dress – I’m so happy you got the dress too! I think they will do 24 hour items with each big item (even if it’s just a code), as it helps promote the update, and boosts the players playing at once count! We need something exciting, it’s been so long since we had something exciting to look forward to! xx

Ah that’s such a good idea! I hope they bring it back next New Years, like they did with the Sweetheart code items, so everyone gets a second chance to get it!! It was so expensive as a set, and we had SUCH a small amount of notice before it launched to farm xx

They could be cheaper than that, and we will have maybe 2 weeks until the update launches (at least) so I think there’s enough time, especially if you use an empty private server, like mine, you can just collect all the currency on the floor without anyone else trying to pick it up 😀
