Where Is The Missing Tudor Set In Dress To Impress? [And OTHER Missing Items]

In the run-up to the launch of the Dress To Impress Spring update, we got lots of sneak peek photos from the team, of items coming in the update.

We got more sneak peeks for this update than we ever got for any other update in the game, but we actually have an issue, where there are multiple missing items from the update, that we were told we were getting in the update.

Many of you are confused, and are asking where these items are, so let’s break it down…

Starting off, where is the missing Tudor set in Dress To Impress? The very first sneak peek of the Petal Update that we got was across all of the DTI social media platforms, and they were shared on the 22nd of March, with an image of a hand mirror, a staff and a headband.

It was the first Petal update sneak peek, and was a matching set everyone was looking forward to having.

There were a lot of theories on what the items would be. Would they be Style Showdown prizes? Would they be quest rewards? Would they be currency items? Would they be a Robux set? Would they be Owen’s (M0toprincess) newest code item?

Well, it turns out the answer is no to all of those questions, because we didn’t get any of these items in the update.

Someone on Twitter did ask Owen where they were, and asked:

“really hoping that tudor set gets added!! was looking forward to it”

And Owen replied with

“It should be soon, i decided to save a few of my items for future updates — sorry, advertising it for the spring update was misleading“

A few other people have also quizzed Owen on the missing Tudor set, and he replied with even more information, on why the set wasn’t included in the update, and it’s regarding how problematic the hood could be.

So, it looks like we might not be getting the “hood” part of the set as it appeared in the sneak peek. If they’re worried about it being problematic, it might need a redesign to stop it being problematic, so we will have to see what’s happening, but it looks like we’re not going to get it soon.

In the DTI Discord, StudioZac was asked on the 12th of April, how many pose packs are we going to get in the update?

He replied with 3-4 packs, and not only that, he confirmed it was a Spring Update Pose Pack, Style Showdown Pose & Dance Pack and K-Pop 2 Pose Pack.

We got one single pose pack in the update, and I, for one, am very disappointed. The poses make SUCH a difference to the game, especially for content creators, who use the poses for making their outfits look good in photos.

To get told we’re going to get 3-4 pose packs (separate to the walks) and only getting 1 is disappointing, and I just hope we get them at some point, and it’s not like the duo poses we’ve had as sneak peeks on/off since October.

The next missing item we can’t be too disappointed about, because the item wasn’t shown as a definite sneak peek ahead of the update, and it’s the big poofy blue dress in the background of this photo of the cake mixing set.

It was obviously an intentional sneak peek, but they never specifically said it was coming in the petal update.

It looks like it could be a new version of the Robux Luxury Dress or a rework of the Trendsetter Dress, but hopefully we will still get, albeit in the future.

I’ve seen people moan about these missing braids from the Petal update, BUT they are not missing.

They are a brand new toggle on an existing braid hairstyle within the game.

They are a toggle on the braids near the Charli XCX hairs, and you can have the old side braids, or these French braids – they’re different toggles on the same hairstyle, so this is NOT a missing item from the update.

The next missing item from the update is this straight, straggly hairstyles, which were shown in the Q&A one week before the update launched.

We can see 3 hairstyles / toggles, and these hairstyles are not in the game sadly, and there’s been no mention why.

The next missing item is this trench coat, which was revealed in the same Q&A, which shows the chunky belt, and a lace underskirt. What happened to this coat?! Why wasn’t it added, when it was shown one week before the update?

In the sneak peeks ahead of the DTI Petal update, they announced the new Rich Girl Set, and showed this handbag with a jeweled clasp on the front of the bag.

We did get the reworked bag, BUT we didn’t get this bag. We don’t have the jeweled clasp, and I am gutted. So many bought this set before the update as they loved this sparkly bag, but we got a really plain rectangular bag, with no jewel or “rich girl” vibe. Weird.

We got told we were getting all of these new patterns, but we didn’t get all of these patterns.

If we look at the patterns as numbers going from 1 to 10 along the top, and then 11 to 20 along the bottom.

We didn’t get pattern 8, pattern 10, pattern 15 and pattern 16. I don’t know why, but I’m so sad about losing pattern 15 and 16, as they were the best two in my opinion.

The next missing item is this graduation cap.

No idea why we didn’t get it, but it’s strange to sneak peek it to only not give it to us.

Hopefully we could still get these things in the future, but for now, they didn’t come in the Petal update, and I’d love to hear your thoughts? Are you gutted about any of these missing items?
