We have had a very exciting announcement today from the Dress To Impress team, and it might even be the most exciting DTI Spring update announcement we’ve had thus far,
It’s a super exciting announcement, which ties into the whole new in-game shop we’re getting, and you’re not going to want to miss this big news!
StudioZac made the following announcement in the Discord:
“Who’s excited for the new “Rich Girl Set?” We will be reworking all old gamepasses (Bags) into full sets. Most of them will be coming in the Petal Update!“
Alongside the caption, Zac shared a video of the brand new Dress To Impress New Rich Girl Set, and oh my gosh it looks amazing.
We all know that on the 26th of April, the new Petal Update is launching, and it’s the spring themed update, with lots of new stuff like animated walks, a new pose pack, some new clothing and accessories and a whole new shop.
Right now, there are three Robux bags;
- Rich Girl Bag $149 Robux
- French Luxury Bag $199 Robux
- Denim Bag $99 Robux
I have all three of these bags, and considering the prices, they aren’t the best quality, but they haven’t been revamped since they were added back in February 2024.
Well, today’s very exciting announcement is that all the Robux Bags are going to be made into “full sets”, and most of them will be coming in the Petal Update.
There are three bags, so the use of the word “most” would suggest maybe two of the new sets will launch in the spring update.
Here is what the DTI Rich Girl Bag looks like right now. It’s a quilted bag with a double chain strap, and it’s kinda basic.
Well, in the reveal video, we can see that they’re introducing a Dress To Impress Rich Girl Set, which looks to be inspired by the original bag, but the bag has been seriously upgraded, and there’s new clothing items for both feminine and masculine bodies.
Here is a side-by-side image showing the Rich Girl Bag right now, and then an image of what the new and improved version of the bag with look like.
It has the same quilted square design, and rectangular shape, and double gold chain, but this time, it has a jewelled clasp on the front, and it looks less blocky than the original.
The original bag doesn’t take patterns well at all, so you can only really use solid colors, but this new version looks so much better quality, and looks genuinely luxurious.
Although this new set is going to be called the Dress To Impress Rich Girl Set, we can see that there’s an outfit for both the masculine and feminine body.
The feminine model is wearing a fitted basque with a tailored jacket with the same jeweled clasp on the bag, but as a closure on the jacket.
There are also two chains across the front of the jacket, and there looks to be a lace cape or shawl attached, as it hangs off the back of the female model.
For the masculine bodies, the model is wearing a PVC long jacket with a large belt in the middle, with a chunky gold buckle.
Not only are we getting a whole new set for the Spring Update on April 26th, but we are getting new hair and makeup too, which was confirmed by one of the devs.
The hair has been created by heelgutz, and it’s absolutely gorgeous, as is the makeup. I’m so excited about the hair, it looks so pretty, and it really does give rich girl vibes for sure.
It will be interesting to see how much this whole set is going to cost in Robux, and what happens for the people (like myself) that have already bought this bag with Robux – will get the whole set automatically, or will we have to purchase the other items in the set that aren’t the bag (like they did with the Madoka rework?)
