The Dress To Impress Stuck In A Dream Theme is one of 43 brand new themes StudioZac added to the game, as part of the recently launched Petal Update.
It’s always fun to get new themes, as the themes get so repetitive, especially when you play DTI a lot (like myself).
For the stuck in a dream theme, the description is surreal clothes that feel straight out of a bizarre dream, and I’ve made a few outfits as ideas for what you could dress up as, if you see this theme appear within the game.
For my first outfit, I went for a weird outfit and makeup, focusing on the new spotted fur pattern mixed with an orange color.
I started with the new sheep horns, and chose the color b17a3b, and use the new Accessory Adjustment feature to make them a little larger.
I wanted an eye patch, so I used the Withered Rose Blindfold, and used the AA feature to move it so it only covered one eye and made it ff941c and material denim.
For my top, I added the new crisscross crop top from the non-VIP Petal Update display, using the spotted fur pattern for the first section, denim material for the second section and the color ffaf54, and white for the last section ffffff.
Layered over that top, I used the Ripped Cropped Overshirt from the grunge collection (currency), and made it color ffaf55.
On the arms, I added the Moongazer Sleeves (Robux) and made them ffaf54, layered with the long arm cuffs from non-VIP, making them ffaf55 for the first section, the spotty fur pattern for the second section and ffffff for the third section.
I also used the arm wraps from the Petal display in VIP (on the mannequin with the butterfly top), and made them denim and color ffaf54 for both sections.
I used the free body chain and made it white ffffff, and for the skirt, I used the hanging skirt from the VIP Petal display, choosing the spotty fur pattern for section one, denim material and color ffaf55 for the second section, ffaf54 for the third section and then silver for the last section c9cbce.
Lastly, for the legs, I used the VIP Valentine’s leg ribbons in denim for both sections, and the color ffaf55 for both sections. For the shoes, I used the thigh-high boots from non-VIP, and added the spotty fur pattern, making the boots knee-high with a “medium” platform toggle.
I loved this next outfit, as a robot type of outfit, so you will need the VIP robot suit for this one, but if you don’t have VIP, you could just use the foil material and the color silver for any other outfit, to create a robot like outfit.
I started with the Robot torso piece and chose color 1985a1, then 46494c and then 323436.
For the Robot legs, I chose colors 46494c, 1985a1 and 323436. The Robot arms I did 46494c, 1985a1, and 323436.
I used the VIP gray chunk heels in the “ankle boots” toggle, in foil and the color 46494c, and they blend amazingly well into the Robot legs, like they’re all one piece!
On the hands, I used the fur sleeves (VIP) and chose toggle off, for sleeveless gloves, making them foil and color 46494c.
Around the waist, I used the VIP utility belt, in colors 46494c, 1985a1, 323436 and 105567.
I added the wolf ears and used the AA feature to make them larger and more fox-like and colored them 46494c and 1985a1.
Lastly, I added the VIP star glasses and made them 1985a1, 323436 and 323436 and 0.65 on the “scale” feature within the AA feature.
For my last Stuck in A Dream DTI outfit, I went for a nightmare vibe, and this makeup totally gives nightmare vibes.
For the outfit, I started with the combat boots, and made them foil all over, and colored them 000000, 000000, 1dff1d and 1dff1d.
I used the Vintage Mini Dress Choker (currency) and made it 1dff1d and silk.
On the arms, I used the non-VIP puffy black sleeves, and made them silk and 000000, 1dff1d and 1dff1d.
I layered quite a few different tops for this one, but I started with the non-VIP corset (near the Heart Cut Out Dress) and made it 000000, 000000, 000000 and 1dff1d with the “lace off” toggle one.
With the Witch Corset next (currency), and in colors 1dff1d, 000000, 000000, 000000 and 1eff1e.
I used the Ripped Knit Top (Currency) from the grunge collection, and made it 1dff1d and 000000.
Next, I used the Summer Ruffle Dress (Currency) in silk all over and black all over 000000.
On the arms, I used the Moongazer Sleeves in black 000000, but you could use the Ice Queen Sleeves for an identical look.
For the skirt, I layered two items. First, the Moongazer Skirt in 000000, 000000 and 1dff1d. Lastly, the Petal VIP hanging skirt, and made it 000000 black for all four sections.
This theme is so cool in a sense that there are so many outfits you can come up with

Thank you so much! It’s so hard to think on the spot, but now we can have 72 saved colors, that makes it a little easier. I prefer solid color outfits, but I’m trying to use more patterns lol! xx
My problem with patterns is that the same pattern looks different when applying it to different clothing, so when you are layering it can look messy(

Exactly that! I hate how a pattern can look perfect on one item, and then look really blurred out and blown out (like the rainbow skirt in VIP – if you add any non solid color pattern, it ends up looking like a completely random, different pattern). I much prefer one color outfits lol! xx
This is so cool I never know what to do for this one, I just do an angel outfit because idk 😆

You are so sweet thank you. I will try when I get time, I am doing outfits for all 43 themes, so it takes a lot of time 😩 but I’ll try and include outfits without VIP or Robux items in those other 42 themes, although I have already made the outfits for a lot of them, and just gotta type them up xx
