We have all been eagerly awaiting the next big Dress To Impress update. The last big update was the petal update, which launched April 26th. We did get the mini World Culture Day update in May, but it’s been so quiet.
However, it is now official, the Dress To Impress Summer Update 2025 is happening. If you’re an OG DTI player, last summer, and the summer update, was peak Dress To Impress.
It was when the game went crazy viral, and there were lots of funny memes. I really hope this year’s summer update can bring back the OG DTI vibes back. Keep on reading to find out more…
The first mention of the DTI summer update 2025, was a 6 minutes and 28 seconds video uploaded to the DTI YouTube channel, where Lana literally sits at her desk in the dark, with a spotlight on her.
She has a Hibiscus flower in her hair, and she’s holding a ship, and playing with it.
In the description, there’s a wordy Lana description, which reads:
“lana continues to Question her reality. the days feel familiar, yet something is always just slightly off. she loves her new boat toy, it reminds her of something but she doesn’t quite Understand what. maybe it’s from a dream, or a memory that’s been buried too deep. the little boat fits perfectly in her hands, light but solid, like it was made just for her. lana really Enjoys fidgeting with it and Swaying iT around. sometimes she imagines it’s drifting through waves, carrying tiny secrets she can’t yet name. other times, she watches its shadow move across the floor like it’s pointing her somewhere. it makes her feel calm, but also a little lost.“
Now, the description has no capitalization, APART from five random words, and those random words spell out the word QUEST.
When does the Dress To Impress Summer Update 2025 launch? It is going to launch Saturday, June 28th. How do we know that? The video is 6 minutes and 28 seconds long, which reads 6:28, and in America, they read their dates differently, so 6:28 is June 28th, whereas almost every other country write their dates as 28:6.
So, we know the summer update is launching June 28th, and June 28th is a Saturday, and all of the big DTI updates fall on a Saturday, and we know there’s going to be a quest.
Although, it’s bittersweet, because Umoyae confirmed in the last Q&A (here), that the next quest would be the final quest, so hopefully the Lana Lore story will be completed with this update.

The first sneak peek from the Dress To Impress Summer Update 2025, comes from Dioncella, and Dioncella is one of my personal favorites devs in the game, as the pieces they create are always incredible.
In this first sneak peek, Dion shares the brand new Crochet Swim Top they created.
It looks absolutely stunning, with a lilac and teal color scheme, with swirls, shells, and starfish detailing.
We don’t currently have bathing suits within the game, and people have been doing outfit hacks to try and make some.
So, this is a very welcome addition to the game, and I hope it comes with matching bottoms, or a sarong skirt. That would be so cute.
In this sneak peek, we can also see the glasses that Dion also created. We’ve sooo needed some more glasses, as the glasses we have now are, kinda lackluster in the nicest possible way.
They lack detail, and are so 2D looking, so these are going to be amazing, and I hope we can change the color of the lenses, so we can use them as sunglasses or reading glasses.
I will update this post whenever more information is shared, but I’m excited to see which other summer themed items we’re going to be getting within the DTI Summer 2025 update.
