It’s officially one week until the new Dress To Impress Petal Update, and to celebrate the one-week to go, DTI uploaded a Developer’s Q&A on their YouTube channel answering a load of our questions.
The questions weren’t as juicy as past Q&As, but we still found out some important information, especially about the next quest.
There were eleven questions in total this time around, and we didn’t get very many sneak peeks about the game going forward, like we have with the Valentine’s Q&A and the Winter Q&A, but they did talk about the plans for the quests.
The Valentine’s Quest was removed from the game today, and we didn’t get a heads-up beforehand, so I’m really sorry if any of you didn’t get to finish the quest.
We have been given a heads-up when quests are leaving previously, but that didn’t happen this time.
Unfortunately, we are not getting a spring quest, and we are not getting any new Lana lore with the spring update.
It also looks like the next quest is going to be the “finale” in the story, which is gutting! The quests have been so fun with the big updates, and something to look forward to, but from what they’ve said, the next quest will be the last one.
Here’s the question that was asked, and the answer…
Will there be a Lana lore / spring quest or one soon? Will Lina leave Lana’s chair?
“So, unfortunately no, there won’t be a spring quest but that is because we want to build up momentum and like keep you guys on your toes and just I really wanna space it out so the next quest is going to be like really big, really cinematic and it’s going to go back to the roots of just being completely lore based not ties around any sort of holiday. It’s gonna be like the big finale in a sense so yeah, then you guys should be really excited for the next quest whenever it comes.
So, yeah Lina will also leave the chair. Lina entering the chair was for April Fool’s, so you know we’ll get our queen Lana back at some point.”
I know I’m not alone in loving the quests, so it’s sad that this storyline looks like it’s coming to an end.
I did think it was unlikely we’d be getting a spring quest because they’d said absolutely nothing about a quest, when in past updates we’ve known a quest is coming upto 6 weeks before the update dropped.
So, sadly we don’t have a quest this time around, and it sounds like it’ll potentially be summer when we get the next quest, as that’s the next big update after the spring petal update.
