What To Wear For The Dress To Impress Comic Book Hero Theme?

If you love a bit of cosplay, you’re going to love the new Dress To Impress comic book hero theme, as it allows you to dress as any comic book hero of your choice.

I made two well known comic book hero outfits, as well as a general superhero outfit, incase you don’t want to do a specific character. Keep reading to see all three…

What To Wear For The Dress To Impress Comic Book Hero Theme?

My first outfit is just a generic superhero outfit, using red and blue. Starting with the non-VIP bone boots in foil and ff1c21 for the first two sections and 1e1eff for the third section.

I then used the tights in silk and 1e1eff, with the VIP gloves in silk and 1e1eff and ff1c21.

I layered two tops for the top, with the LANA code item crop top first on “smooth”, made silk and colored ff1c21. Layered with the “Lana” tight long sleeve top in silk and ff1c21.

The Easter Set shorts are PERFECT for superhero outfits, and made them silk all over and ff1d22, 1e1eff, ff1d22 and ff1d22. Over the top, I used the VIP utility belt in silk and ff1c21, 1d1dff, 1d1dff and 1d1dff.

I used the pearl stud earrings in silk and 1d1dff. Lastly, I used two VIP items to complete the outfit, with the cape on “cape only” silk and ff1c21, and then the masquerade mask with the feathers removed and colored 1d1dff all over.

What To Wear For The Dress To Impress Comic Book Hero Theme?

I did a Batman inspired outfit for my second Dress To Impress Comic Book Hero outfit.

Firstly, I used the leg armor colored 000000, 000000, 5f5f5f and 5f5f5f, with foil all over.

I used the new Western Belt (currency) and colored it d19045 for all sections, and all sections made silk.

For the hood, I used the knitted hood from non-VIP on toggle “1” and made black, with the VIP masquerade mask with feathers removed, and made black all over.

Next, I added the VIP cape in “cape only” with the foil material, and made black 000000.

Then I added the non-VIP gloves in long, with the fur removed, and made foil and colored 5f5f5f.

For the top half, I tried to make the Bat logo across the front, and started with the new chest plate from non-VIP, in foil and 606060, 606060 and 606060.

Then I added the “Lana” long sleeve top in foil and 606060. Next, I added the non-VIP blue and white crop top in black all over (this gives the black bat on the front).

Lastly, to give the illusion of muscles, I added the two non-VIP sleeves, both in foil, and both in 606060, to match the tops.

I did Wonder Woman for my third and final outfit, and I’m really happy with how it came out – the new western belt is just perfect, as it has a lasso, just like Wonder Woman.

For this outfit, I started with the VIP leg armor, colored cc171b, a57f27, cc171b and 1d1dff, making the gold section foil, so it looks metallic and shiny.

I used the Western Belt (currency) around the waist, and made it “metallic” and colored a57f27 for all six sections, to look like Wonder Woman’s belt.

Around the head, I used the VIP jeweled headband, colored a57f27, ff1c21 and ff1c21.

I used the small hoop earrings in ff1c21, and the non-VIP choker in a57f27 and metallic.

For the top, I used the Myra Magical Girl Top (currency) removing the bow, lace, jewel, detail and undershirt, and made the colors ff1c21 and a57f27.

For the arms, I added the Valentine’s bangles with a57f27 for the top bangles for Wonder Woman’s arm cuffs, and the wrist bangles c9cbce to blend in with her arm cuffs.

For the arm cuffs, I used the non-VIP sleeves (with the straps) and made them foil to look like metal, and colored them c9cbce for all three sections.

The Wonder Woman and Batman outfits you made are amazing
I always do a Catwoman for this theme but I wish there was some spider web pattern in red color so we could make Spiderman

They HAVE to introduce a feature to let us color patterns. Imagine the possibilities! I’m sure that’s a thing in IT Girl, so you’d think DTI could do it too ๐Ÿ™Š

Imagine how much it would change the game (in literal terms), being able to go from 100 patterns to hundreds, it would just be amazing. I also need them to introduce a colored toggle effect on items, when we use the materials, as it doesn’t show which material we’ve used on each section, and it drives me mad lol xx

Omg and the fact that many items don’t have a name of the thing you are coloring/ adding a material to? Like I just go in blind, I have no idea if I am coloring a lacing or a detail or something else๐Ÿ˜ญ

YES! They could totally hire me to go in and name each section of each item lol. It needs to be their next change in the game, as section this and section that is just annnnnnoying!!

I loved those two, I don’t know how easy they’d be to do in a six-minute round, but hopefully we can do them ๐Ÿ˜‚
