What Time Does The Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update Launch?

Everyone is talking about the upcoming Dress To Impress Valentines Day Update (launching February 8th), but the DTI have surprised us with a special Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update, which is launching this Saturday, January 25th.

We are getting three brand new limited time codes, new clothes, new jewelry and more surprises. Keep on reading to see what time it launches…

As far as updates go, the Dress To Impress Lunar New Year Update is a mini update compared to the likes of the DTI Halloween update or the DTI Winter update.

It’s going to be a mini update, like the Dress To Impress New Year Update, where we got a new code, an update to the lobby (and Lana’s desk) and a new currency item.

I love that DTI give us these mini updates as well as the big updates, to keep the game fun and exciting.

We are going to get three DTI Lunar New Year codes, which is so exciting

The Dress To Impress Lunar New Year three codes will be limited time codes, and will only be available between Saturday 25th January through to Saturday 1st of February (the whole Lunar New Year week).

We’ve never seen Dress To Impress do an update surrounding Lunar New Year before, and LNY marks the first new moon of the year.

This is exciting because it suggests we might see other small updates throughout the year, connected to occasions, holidays and celebrations, instead of only being huge events like Halloween.

Lunar New Year is a huge annual celebration that follows the lunar calendar instead of the regular calendar, and this mini update is designed to introduce some beautiful new items into the game, including new clothes and new accessories.

We know for sure that we are getting the following items;

traditional Chinese jackets known as “Tang suits” or “Tangzhuang” (唐装)
traditional Chinese dresses known as “Qipao” or “Cheongsam” (旗袍)
silver snake bracelets
silver snake hair clips
silver snake necklace

The Dress To Impress Mini Lunar New Year Update is launching on Saturday, January 25th at 8am PST, and includes new traditional Chinese outfits, a new silver jeweled necklace, silver snake hair clips and silver snake wrist cuff bracelets.
