Are you looking for some inspiration for outfits when you get the Dress To Impress Boardwalk Babe theme in-game?
Depending on where you live in the world, you might not know what a boardwalk is, as in the UK, we call it a pier, but a boardwalk is a a promenade along a beach or waterfront, typically made of wood. So, basically we’re looking for beachy, summery outfits, and I have a few outfit ideas you could try.
I went super simple with this first outfit, after looking on Pinterest for real-life boardwalk inspired outfits.
I started with the VIP flowery sandals, but you could use any sandals for this outfit. I used toggle “sandals” and chose colors ffffc2, ffc2e6, ffc2e6 and ffc2e6.
For the shorts, I used the baggy shorts (the green patterned ones from non-VIP) and used the cute pastel stripe pattern from the Halloween update for both sections.
I used this same pattern on the tote bag for the first section, and color ffffff for the second section.
Then, I added the cardigan from VIP, making it ffc2e6 and ffffc2, to make it look like an open shirt vibe.
For my top, I used the non-VIP petal display crisscross cropped top, and made it lemon yellow ffffc2, then ffffc2 and then pink ff8ad0. Layered with that, I then used the non-VIP strapless crop top (the pink one on the second shelf of tops in non-VIP), and made it ffffc2.
For a final touch, I added the chain bracelet from non-VIP, and made it ffc2e6.
For my next outfit, I chose one pattern and one color, and I love how it turned out.
I started with the non-VIP block sandal heels, and I chose the white pattern which is right next to the summer fruit patterns from last year, and the pink and black check pattern.
For the tote bag, I made it white ffffff for the first section, and then d08bff lilac for the flower.
For her hat, I used the non-VIP petal display straw hat, and chose the colors: ffffff, d08bff and ffffff.
I layered two items for the ruffle skirt. Starting with the ruffle shorts from the non-VIP Valentine’s Chest, and chose the white pattern I mentioned above, and layered over the top the Supernova Star Skirt (currency) on toggle “4” and used the same pattern.
On top, I used the Strawberry Dress (currency) and chose the “top only” toggle, and used the white pattern for the first section, and then color d08bff for the second section. Then, I added the Butterfly Top over the top, in the same white pattern.
I chose two accessories to finish, with the flower neck tie in lilac d08bff and the VIP beaded bracelet in ffffff white, but you could use any bracelet.
For my last Dress To Impress boardwalk babe outfit, I did a date night vibe, starting with the non-VIP bow heels, and I did the first section pink ffc2e6, second section I used a pattern from the new Petal update patterns (the pastel zigzag pattern), and for the third section I used ffc3e7 for the hearts.
For the skirt, I used the VIP rainbow skirt on toggle “4” using the same pastel zigzag pattern for section one and section two, and then for section three I used ffc3e7 to match the shoes.
I used the Tekkyooz code bag, and made it pale lemon fffad9, pink ffc2e6, ffc2e6 and ffc2e6. For earrings, I used the round gem stud earrings in ffffc3 and ffc3e7.
Lastly, for the top I used the Petal Update non-VIP beaded top and made it ffffc3, ffffc3 and ffc3e7. Then I finished with the Everlasting Love Dress (currency) but with the “sleeves only” toggle, for detail on the arms, and I made the sleeves ffc3e7, ffc3e7 and fbebe2.
I love these fits so so so much!
